Description
One of our days on Oseetah Lake in the town of Saranac Lake included scoping out potential sites for visiting plein air painters in the town's annual competitions. A longtime local townee welcomed us on his boat-access-only private island and graciously shared his cabin views! I didn't want to leave!
Oseetah Lake is an 826-acre lake with a mean depth of three feet. It is in New York State's Adirondack Park, two and a half miles south of the village of Saranac Lake on the Saranac River.
